I haven’t blogged in a very long time because I’ve been so busy with life. Last week I started an internship in a PR company and have been commuting back and forth from London every day. I’m working on the beauty team and I’m loving every minute of it,even taking out the recycling!
It’s so nice to actually be doing work that I’m passionate about. I’m not going to let my blogging slip but for now posts will probably be less frequent. I seem to be rushing around too much to take photos of what I’m up to but I will try to remember! I’ve taken a few snaps over the last couple of weeks to give you a very brief insight into my life at the moment….
I started a bit later on my first day so got this delicious juice from Muriel’s Kitchen
Enjoying my lunch in the sun on a bench in Soho square
This was my lunch – a half eaten salmon and avocado bagel
My desk! I’m getting used to using a Mac now, at first it took me a while to find my way around it.
A vegan flapjack made out of hemp seed and cashew nuts from a place called Beetroot Cafe which was a great find.
Enjoying a gin and tonic for Friday’s drinks in the office.
Taking out the post and accidentally matching the post bag.
A free ‘bunny’ lunch at a new South African restaurant called Bunny Chow. It’s basically a bun with the lid cut out of the top with your choice of filling in the middle. I chose the pulled pork and slaw version which was delicious.
I’d never been to Soho before, but I absolutely love it and wish I could sample every single eatery there because there are so many to choose from. A particular highlight from this week was spotting my all time favourite blogger and girl crush, Rosie Londoner, having lunch outside.Wish I’d been brave enough to say hi! So that’s all I have to say for now, I’m going to try and plan some posts this weekend so look out for more tales about my life as an intern next week.I seem to have fallen into the trap of feeling like writing blog posts is a chore rather than something I enjoy, so I’m hoping to change that by only writing what I like, when I like. I’m hoping that will re-inspire my creative juices.
Bye for now!
