 ‘ALWAYS STICK TO THE LIST’

Us women are funny creatures when it comes to gifts. We get annoyed when we don’t get exactly what we want but equally we like to be surprised and for someone to show a bit of thought in their present buying.

I personally channel Rachel from Friends and will tell people to ‘stick to the list’. However, sometimes it’s not possible to be that forward, especially if it’s people you don’t know very well. So I thought I would do a round up of some gifts for her-type ideas, for the woman that has everything. Or so it would seem. These are things I would personally like to receive myself and also things I’ve gifted other people in the past. Let’s get shopping!

A bespoke skincare box

One of my favourite gift ideas – but yet I’m something to actually do – is to buy a selection of beauty products in kits (which are often better value for money) and mix and match the products for the various people you’re buying for. Whether you personalise it according to their age, a particular scent you know they like or a skin concern they have, I’m sure they’ll appreciate the extra thought you’ve put in. Plus they won’t be able to find the exact collection online as you created it just for them!

“I’m currently sat in bed with silky smooth skin thanks to these products and I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love them too.”

One brand that does amazing skincare and bodycare collections is L’Occitane. I’ve used the brand for years and am lucky enough to live within walking distance of their outlet shop in Bicester Village – heaven! They were kind enough to send me a selection of their products to test and I couldn’t wait to dive straight in. The almond shower oil and Repairing Shampoo both smell heavenly and are keeping my skin and hair nicely hydrated.

The hand cream is an old favourite of mine so I’m putting this travel-sized version in my desk drawer at work. I also received a mini perfume and some skincare sachets to top it off. I’m currently sat in bed with silky smooth skin thanks to these products and I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love them too. You can shop the Christmas gifts for her section on their website here.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAKE UP

If the woman you are buying for is into her make up, she’ll definitely appreciate something from the Charlotte Tilbury range. The quality is impeccable and the shades are absolutely stunning. You can’t go wrong with an eyeshadow palette like this one or maybe a gorgeous long-wearing eyeshadow? The Pillow Talk Lip Liner is amazing…to be honest it’s all good so go crazy!

For more products recommendations from Charlotte Tilbury, I’ve raved about her products in various posts here.

Melt her heart with a candle

While fragrances require you to know a person quite well, candles are the next best thing in my opinion. Women love candles and if you have them burning all the time like I do, then some more to add to the collection are always welcome. The ones photographed are simple B&M’s ones but I love brands like Yankee Candle, The White Company and Jo Malone (a girl can dream!).
