Bring on 2018!
It’s just going to be a short one from me today. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and I wish you a happy New Year! I wanted to get these festive photos up before it’s too late to share them so here we are. You might have seen a few pop up already over on my Instagram.
I had the privilege of having my photos taken by a photographer and blogger I really admire, Lauren Britton. My wonderful friend Rosh gifted me some time with her for my birthday – best present ever! While I wouldn’t say I love having my photo taken or seeing myself in photos (despite what this whole social media thing might portray), it was a fun experience, Lauren put me completely at ease and was as lovely IRL as I’d imagined. You really can get a lot of content in a short amount of time if you put your mind to it. I’ve got one more outfit look to show you which I’ll share at some point.
Generally, I’m going to try and be less of a planner in 2018 and go with the flow more in all areas of my life. 2017 has taught me that things don’t always turn out the way you planned. But it’t not always been a bad thing. I’m a firm believer that something good always comes out of seemingly bad situations. After all, if you didn’t have the contrast of what you don’t want, how would you know what you do want? Still following? So I hope to do more sifting and sorting next year, practice more self-love and hopefully save a nice sum of money to help me eventually move out of my family home.
Well that wasn’t quite as short as I’d planned but anyway it was quite nice to put fingers to keyboard again and write on here. I’ll be back soon. Maybe. Because I’m not planning things remember 😉 Have a good one! xo
