Beauty hacks | How to fake a glow this autumn

It's Monday morning and with the best will in the world, my skin is never going to look glowing at 6am. However, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to turn my lacklustre skin into more lit from within - pretty proud of that rhyming - this one being one of the quickest.

Enter the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or Amazing Dry Gold Oil . I spray a couple drops of this into my favourite body lotion and apply it onto my arms, legs and decolletage to add a delicate sheen to my skin when it catches the light.

Much more subtle than fake tan, it's a delicate golden colour which takes of the edge of the 'blueness' that my pale skin is prone to at this time of year. If that wasn't enough it smells divine, is infused with 6 precious plant oils (borage, St Johnswort, sweet almond, camellia, hazelnut and macadamia) and can also be used on your face and hair for extra gloss, although I've yet to try that. You can also apply it straight onto the skin from the bottle but I find for the daytime the shimmer would be too concentrated, so adding it to a moistuiser is my preference.

So there we have it, the cult summer product that has unexpectedly turned into one of my autumn beauty favourites. If you want to see me using this, make sure you're subscribed to my YouTube channel as I'll be featuring Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse as one of my October favourites - you heard it here first!
