We’ve all been there. Getting triggered or annoyed by something small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Often we can look at these moments and realise how ‘silly’ we are being and move on quickly. But what about all the stories and beliefs you’ve had since childhood about the way the world works? When you realise that you are not your thoughts and don’t have to believe what you are thinking, you’ve got the key to everything.
There is no ‘outside’ after all, there’s only ever our mental projection of what we perceive happening outside of us. It’s all relative and while it’s a hard concept to get our minds around, I try to break it down as best I can in this episode with real life examples.
